In the ever-evolving landscape of leadership, few voices embody the duality of power and vulnerability as gracefully as Chanel T. Rowe, Esq. She is more than a high-powered attorney and legal strategist; she is a storyteller, a caregiver, and a champion for balance in spaces that often demand sacrifice. Her journey is one of breaking barriers while building bridges—for corporations, communities, and caregivers who usually go unseen.

Chanel’s résumé speaks volumes. She has reportedly worked across BigLaw, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, a global fintech platform, and Fortune 50 giants like Johnson & Johnson. Today, she leads as the Founder and Managing Partner of Uriel Law, where she advises clients in finance, life sciences, entertainment, technology, and real estate. Her ability to align legal precision with business vision has earned her a reputation as the kind of lawyer every boardroom wants but few can find.

But behind the polished legal expertise is a deeply personal mission rooted in caregiving. When Chanel’s mother was diagnosed with an ultra-rare, life-threatening autoimmune disease, her life shifted overnight. She went from legal briefs to hospital charts, board meetings to waiting rooms. That lived experience fueled her first book, Finding Balance: A Devotional to Help Caregivers Move from Suffering to Strength.

The devotional is more than pages of reflection—it’s a movement. Through faith-driven insight and raw storytelling, Chanel gives a voice to the millions of unpaid caregivers in America, many of whom are Black women, shouldering invisible labor at home while excelling in professional spaces. Her words offer permission to breathe, to pause, and to recognize that resilience isn’t about perfection—it’s about grace wrapped in surrender.

Recognition has followed her both personally and professionally. Chanel has been featured in Black Enterprise, The American Lawyer, Florida Trend Magazine, Super Lawyers, and more. She made history as the first Black woman appointed to the Florida International University Board of Trustees, where she chaired the Audit & Compliance Committee. Even more impressively, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court—a distinction held by fewer than six percent of attorneys nationwide.

For Chanel, representation is more than optics—it’s a responsibility. “Excellence is non-negotiable,” she affirms, but her definition of excellence has expanded beyond career milestones. Today, she champions leadership models that prioritize humanity, advocating for caregiver-conscious workplaces and a culture where leaders don’t have to choose between purpose, power, and peace.

Her story resonates because it’s deeply familiar to so many in our community: high-achieving Black professionals navigating spaces that weren’t built with us in mind, while also carrying the invisible weight of family, faith, and service. Chanel doesn’t just survive those pressures—she transforms them into platforms for change.

As she continues to expand Uriel Law, inspire caregivers, and speak to audiences about leadership and resilience, Chanel is building a legacy rooted in faith, balance, and unapologetic brilliance. She reminds us that success is not about what we conquer, but about what we carry—and how we choose to have it.
